Your First 5 Minutes in Eden
Open a ticker, read its key levels and price targets, and turn the data into a simple trade plan in five minutes.

Eden helps you turn a ticker into a simple decision map. In your first five minutes, focus on three questions:
- Where is price now?
- Which levels may matter next?
- Where could the trade idea become wrong or reach a target?
Eden gives you market context. It does not tell you what to buy or sell, and no level or target is guaranteed.
Minute 1: Open a ticker
- Open Eden.
- Enter a supported stock or ETF ticker, such as
SPY,QQQ, orAAPL. - Confirm the symbol and current price before reading the other panels.
Start with one ticker. A smaller workspace is easier to understand than several tickers competing for your attention.
Minute 2: Read the key levels
Open the Key Levels panel. Begin with the levels closest to the current price.
- P-Trans marks an established positive gamma transition.
- N-Trans marks an established negative gamma transition.
- Max reward and Max pain add more options-positioning context.
Think of these levels as places on a road map. They show where conditions may change, but they do not tell you which direction to drive.
Ask what you would need to see near a level: a hold, break, reclaim, or rejection. Read the full Key Levels guide for definitions and examples.
Minute 3: Check the price targets
Open the Price Targets panel and choose an expiration. Review the upper and lower target for that date.
The targets are possible range boundaries based on the available options chain. They are not promised destinations or profit forecasts.
Compare each target with the current price and nearby key levels. A target can help you judge whether enough room may exist for your idea before you take risk. Read Price Targets for the full workflow.
Minute 4: Add one useful layer
Only add information that changes your decision.
- For
SPY,QQQ, orIWM, Seasonality shows how each calendar month performed in recent years. - The Unusual Options Screener can help you find contracts that deserve more research.
Seasonality describes the past. Screener activity is a research lead. Neither one is a signal to enter a trade.
Minute 5: Write the plan
Turn the screen into four short statements:
| Part | Question |
|---|---|
| Thesis | What do I think price may do? |
| Trigger | What must happen at a key level before I act? |
| Invalidation | What price behavior would show that the idea is wrong? |
| Target | Which potential target will make me review or exit the idea? |
Write the plan as an if-then statement:
If price reaches my level and shows the reaction required by my strategy, then I will consider the trade. If the level fails, I will stand aside or follow my risk rule.
Your five-minute checklist
- Confirm the ticker and current price.
- Mark the nearest useful key levels.
- Choose the target expiration you are reviewing.
- Compare the upside and downside targets with your planned risk.
- Add seasonality or Screener context only when it matters.
- Define the trigger, invalidation, and target before entry.
You now have a basic Eden workflow. The next step is to repeat the same process instead of adding more indicators each time the market moves.
Open a ticker to review the current levels and targets in your workspace.
